FESKS Water Quality Online Phenolphthalein Base FOSTCO 5000PIt is an automatic measurement based on colorimetric titrationphenolphthalein alkalinityOnline analyzer. By adding reagents to water samples, a color reaction occurs. Based on the indicator used, the device evaluates the intensity of the color. Through the color change of the sample during reagent addition, the meter calculates the water compositionphenolphthalein alkalinityConcentration. The equipment can only measure one parameter at a time, making it suitable for high-range alkalinity measurement. The parameters and measurement range are determined by the instrument supporting reagents used.
Product features:
→ Reliable, accurate and fully automatic analyzer
→ Monitor two programmable limits
→ Simple debugging through the configuration wizard
→ Automatic calibration, automatic diagnosis and automatic measurement
→ Compact design for easy maintenance and cleaning
→ Multi-lingual, multi-color LED display
→ Relay output of error message
→ Analog output 0/4 - 20 mA, digital output RS 485
→ Digital inputs for starting analysis, flow switches, or interval relocations
→ Measurement data memory and measurement data protocol on SD card
→ Update software via SD card

Online phenolphthalein alkalinity analyzer There are two versions:
Wall mounted analyzer
The analyzer consists of a controller and a measurement chamber. Both are mounted on brackets on a wall. This version is fully functional, including water inlet and outlet connections and a holder for reagent bottles.
shell analyzer
For wall-mounted analyzers, there is a plastic housing that can be used to use the analyzer in locations where more contamination is expected. The analyzer on the wall stand can be used4 screws are quickly installed in the housing. If the analyzer is ordered with the housing, the equipment is already installed in the housing.
device description
The analyzer consists of the following components: The control unit with a graphical display and control panel is located on the left side of the device. There are 4 cable feedthroughs. On the right side is the metering pump and below is the measuring chamber.
The metering pump is attached to the motor shaft of the motor and engaged in the container. It can be removed without tools. The measuring chamber is connected to the control enclosure 2 guide pins. It can be removed without tools and released with the 2 captive locking pins. The metering plug, actuator plug, inlet and outlet plug are connected to the measuring chamber in the same way and can be released quickly.
In the middle is the measuring chamber, which is basically under low pressure and is always full to avoid contamination. In the middle of the measuring room is a white high-power Actuator plug for LED. The sensor system is located within the enclosure. Below the measuring chamber is a stirrer (magnetic stirrer) firmly connected to the housing.
reagentBelow the bottle is an outer diameter of Water connections for the 6 mm hose: sample water inlet (left) and outlet (right).
Both are securely fastened to the wall bracket with screws.
reagentThere is a solenoid valve on the supply line behind the bottle.

Precautions for oxidants:
Allowable limits of oxidizing agents (such as calcium hypochlorite, chlorine gas, chlorine dioxide, sodium hypochlorite or ozone) can corrode the dyes contained in the indicator and interfere with the measurement. This means that accurate determination of measured values is no longer guaranteed. An activated carbon filter connected upstream of the analyzer removes these oxidants from the sample water, allowing the measurement to be correctly determined.
The capacity of the activated carbon filter will be consumed during operation. Therefore, the activated carbon filter must be replaced regularly. The effectiveness of activated carbon filters can be checked with the help of our test suite.

| If the ambient temperature and water temperature are high or the organic load of the water is high, it may be necessary to shorten cleaning intervals. |
